Take advantage of product videos in your NetSuite Web Store
This is a pretty cool tip, for those selling popular products like this Pioneer AVIC-D3 in dash car stereo. Based on the latest ecommerce surveys, displaying product videos, is a must have for any ecommerce store to raise conversions. If a "picture is worth a thousand words", imagine a Video!!
You can search in www.youtube.com for product videos, or around the web, and easily add them to your NetSuite template.
What you have to do is create a Custom Item Field, and call it Video HTML CODE and paste the Embedding code provided by you tube. (Then reference the custom field in your item template code)
Always try to embed the manufacturers original video, like this one from Pioneer Mobile.
If you product is not available from manufacturers, maybe getting a camcorder, and having you review them, is something that will make you and your store unique in a snap!.
Just a tip you should start thinking about.

NetSuite adding HTML Doctype Tag in 2007 Release
The acclaimed HTML Doctype Tag will be added to all NetSuite store in the next (June to August) 2007 release. This is great news for great NetSuite coders.
Why it is important?
Per HTML and XHTML standards, a DOCTYPE (short for “document type declaration”) informs the validator which version of (X)HTML you’re using, and must appear at the very top of every web page. DOCTYPEs are a key component of compliant web pages: your markup and CSS won’t validate without them.
DOCTYPES are also essential to the proper rendering and functioning of web documents in compliant browsers like Mozilla, IE5/Mac, and IE6/Win.
A recent DOCTYPE that includes a full URI (a complete web address) tells these browsers to render your page in standards–compliant mode, treating your (X)HTML, CSS, and DOM as you expect them to be treated.
It is good if you write good code (like SuiteCommerce) because now NetSuite will know what type of code you are writing and the Doctype will tell NS how to render it.Great news for great coders.
Another great addition.

Tracking NetSuite Keyword Campaigns ROI
When importing keyword campaings into NetSuite the best way of tracking ROI, is not going through every campaign and checking the statistics subtab. What you have to do is check the "Campaign ROI Analysis Summary" report. Here, if you have categorized your campaigns with a good structure, you should know exactly what keywords are working and what keywords aren't. It is also good to customize the report and get additional Data, or different sorting options.
Another option to discover and see working keywords is to check the "Search Engine Keywords Detail". This report will give you all keywords used to access your website. Problem with the standard report is that all keywords look the same for you, so what you have to do, is customize the report, and add a new column called "Campaign Title". This way, using the same report you will see what keywords are organic and what keywords belong to a Keyword Campaign, ergo a Paid keyword.
Hope it helps and it gives you a better picture for managing Keywords in NetSuite.
We will keep adding new ways of understanding your data in NetSuite.
TIP: To update bidding, use the Mass Update feature.
Enjoy!
