The ROI of measuring ROI - Are you?

Are you spending enough time in your Analytics account? Do you have an Analytics account measuring your metrics? Are you comparing metrics?

If not, what are you doing? The most important eCommerce metric is Conversion Rate. Impriving it it improves, marketing, finance, economic, and service success! You cannot be not spending time with your Analytics.

If you are not, start now, you have to. It is mandatory. Time has passed very fast and now, it is not about page views/hits, its about 85 other reports that you have to be looking at and comparing with past months. Every action has to have an impact, and common sense may have worked, but not as good as exact data!

Start now...

NetSuite eCommerce 2009 Roadmap

We spent these last days in San Francisco, visiting customers and NetSuite ecommerce focused employees. The idea was to brainstorm on new ideas, and releases, go over the 2008.2 releases and talk about 2009.1 release.

It was great, refreshing and intense. We had to expose what our customers desire, what we desire and align it to what NetSuite thinks are the best features for the next release, related to eCommerce.

We keep an internal database of add-ons and features that are relevant to ecommmerce, and,

a) We develop them in house the ones we know are possible and good to be offered by a partner,
b) we share them with NetSuite as they are the only ones that can brign them to life,
or c) We ask NS if its possible to make a slight mod so we can develop it.

Thats how we work together and for you, the customer.

The meetings were great and 2009 will be a big year for eCommerce. Guaranteed.

The latest release was explained and we tested internally. How the 2008.2 web store render and load has been a great improvement.

Multi Site with different pricing level assigned to each store is a big plus and will be very useful for some of our customer that had expansion plans using Multi store.

A lot going on, lots of new releases from us coming up and 2 big releases from NetSuite next year.

The eCommerce team in NetSuite is focused and on the right direction. And some woes coming up fo them in the next months!

What features would you like to see in upcoming releases? 2009?

Let us know!

Cool Tool

Quantcast

"Quantcast is a new media measurement service that enables advertisers to view audience reports for millions of sites and services to build their brands with confidence." ---Quantcast.com

Quantcast.com is a great tool to help you decide the best engines to advertise your products on. When you go there, type in a comparison shopping engine, lets say, Shopzilla.com. It will then show you the U.S. demographics on who is using this engine the most. It shows you, age range, sex, income level, and more. Quantcast Check it out!! It can be a big help. And any help in the world of CSE's is a BIG help!!! Right?

Customer Q&A

Hi,
As of right now our site is still in the design as you may know. But I am slowly adding some products here and there just to get use to the process. My question is from some of our vendors I will be getting some high detailed pictures that a lot of our competitors might not have. What I am looking for is a simple program that you might know of that will place a watermark on the pictures or a simple way of doing so. I want to do this so then if someone saves the picture it will have our name on it.

Thanks,

RC

Answer:

We recommend this software. Does a great job and allows bulk uploading.
